MYCHRON 5S 2T

Description

The AiM MyChron5S 2T is a GPS lap timer and data logger for karting that monitors two engine temperatures instead of one. This kit includes the M10 water thermoresistor. Available in the UAE from our Dubai warehouse.

• 25 Hz GPS receiver (GPS + GLONASS); GPS precision improved from about 1.5 m on MyChron5 to about 0.5 m
• Automatic track recognition from the AiM track database
• 268 x 128 pixel graphical display, backlight in 8 colours, ambient light sensor for brightness and contrast
• 5 individually configurable RGB LEDs (shift lights, best lap/split) and configurable alarm LEDs (e.g. water temperature)
• Lap and split times, best lap, RPM, gear number, speed, temperature and track map on pre-configured pages; summary of the three best laps after the session
• Wi-Fi data download
• Glass-fibre-reinforced nylon body, metal buttons, anti-scratch non-reflecting polycarbonate display
• Removable rechargeable lithium battery, approx. 10 hours; optional external power cable
• 2 temperature inputs: two thermocouples, two thermoresistors, or one thermocouple and one thermoresistor

Compatibility

• Expansions: LCU1S lambda controller, SmartyCam 3 cameras, MyChron Expansion, Infrared Temperature Controller (tyre temperature), Data Hub and AiM sensors (temperature, pressure, brake/throttle, steering, speed, RPM)
• A second sensor, such as an exhaust gas temperature thermocouple, is sold separately

Software

Data are downloaded and analysed in AiM RaceStudio 3. AiM lists MyChron5S as out of production; its successor is the MyChron6.
